About the story
A story to read—and a conversation to continue.
The Mice and the Elephants is a warm fable about unlikely friends and the value each one brings. It helps young readers see that size does not determine importance and that courage can come from anyone.
Through kindness and cooperation, the characters create a natural opening for conversations about inclusion, helping others, and recognizing strengths that may be easy to overlook.
